“It happened one day when…”

ThinkInk was founded in 2004 to fill a void in the agency marketplace: the lack of public relations agencies that specialize in business-to-business (B2B) communications, with knowledge of the entire marketing discipline and an understanding of how PR fits into the organization’s business strategy. Vanessa Horwell, an entrepreneur and marketing strategist, launched ThinkInk after recognizing that PR agencies lacked a ‘business-first’ mindset and that media relationships and industry knowledge could be combined for more than press releases and media coverage… but bottom line impact, too.

Since then, ThinkInk has become exactly what Vanessa envisioned: A boutique global firm serving the needs of enterprise clients through industry-specific content, thought leadership strategies, business development thinking and strategic PR that, when combined, drive real business outcomes.



We launched ThinkInk to fill a significant marketplace void: the lack of specialization across the PR agency landscape, and no communication partners driven by top-line business growth.  

To remedy this, Vanessa Horwell, now our Chief Strategy Officer, created ThinkInk, which has grown to become a global business communications firm operating within specialized B2B industries, dedicated to delivering the results our clients need to thrive. 

Ten Years

– that’s how long we’ve been with our longest-standing client. We’ve developed an extensive list of long-standing clients because we’re not just another agency that may see only a portion of their business. We take the time to understand how they operate, share their mindset, and integrate ourselves into their product, marketing, and sales’ teams to become a critical part of their organization. We become their communications partner. 

In that time, we have grown to become a full-service agency headquartered in Miami, Florida, with teams across North America, Europe, and Australia, and clients around the globe.
