Turning to an experienced partner to launch a new brand

Background

GO7, an airline and travel technology company that was formed through the merging of AeroCRS, Air Black Box and WorldTicket, to enable travel companies to transform their commercial operations and reduce reliance on legacy systems, had already worked with THINKINK under the 777 Travel Technology banner. As it was preparing to launch its new brand, the company needed an experienced communications partner that understood the complexities of its business and could develop a phased roll-out of its brand story to support its growth strategy.

Approach

Leading up to the launch, our work focused on maintaining the former brand’s presence (777 Travel Technology) in key trade media outlets and supporting the company at several major aviation conferences. Our launch strategy focused on reaching global aviation and travel reporters, building on the heritage (and brand equity) of the merged companies while reinforcing the GO7 value proposition. Post-launch, our strategy is focused on securing interviews and placements in top-tier trade media and developing a thought leadership program for the company’s executives.
